The responsibilities of the Asst. Manager – Product Sourcing (Handicraft) include but are not limited to the descriptions below:
1) Ensure Handicraft product sourcing from all over the country.
2) Building and maintaining liaison with different handicraft product manufacturing and supplier organizations.
3) Generate ideas about present & future market place (Local & International), competitors and trends to ensure a cutting edge strategy.
4) Sourcing Handicraft product buyer in Local & International market.
5) Analysis of proper customer needs and ensure timely product availability by smart liaison with product manufacturer/ supplier.
6) Manage special customer order, customer complaints, solve producer and products related problems.
7) Regularly updating the products, market price, competitive quality and ensuring product quality.
Masters/ Bachelor degree in any discipline
Candidates from Fine Arts background will be given preference.
Must have good knowledge on Handicraft Product.
Capabilities of forming, leading & motivating the team.
Strong inter-personal relationship, communication and leadership skills
Innovative and pro-active in taking initiatives.
Able to work under pressure independently.
