Job Description:

  • The acronym OPCA stands for `Organization for the Poor Community Advancement. OPCA is a local voluntary, non-profitable, non-political Bangladeshi Organization. It is registered under MRA, NGO Bureau, Social Welfare, and Youth Development. Since 1992, OPCA is working with on development sector, for lasting solutions and entitlement of poor communities, WASH, GBV, SRH, Skill Development Program, Health, Agriculture, Disabilities, and Mirsarai Autism Center. It is funded by PKSF, Anukul Foundation, Brac/SDC, DRRA/Netherlands, Care Bangladesh, Care/UNICEF
  • The Internal Audit is responsible for ensuring Organization for the Poor Community Advancement "OPCA" matters related to, internal controls systems, and their impact on the overall grant management. He will provide oversight of all finance, accounting, and administrative reporting activities, and will ensure that Organization for the Poor Community Advancement "OPCA" has the systems and procedures in place to support effective program implementation.
  • Job Location: Chittagong (Mirsarai)
  • Workplace; Work at the office (frequently field visit for auditing)

Educational Requirements:

  • CA, CC from the renowned firm.
  • Must have previous experience in handling PKSF funded organizations.

Additional Requirements:

  • Age at most 44 years
  • 5 year(s) experience in PKSF funded NGO
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): PKSF Funded NGO
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  • MRA registered & PKSF Funded NGO
  • 3 years of experience at a mid-level in PKSF funded NGO or non-profit organization.
  • Two years of Fraud Auditing experience.
  • Exceptional accounting skills.
  • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Proven working experience as Internal Auditor
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting banker software
