Citizen Cables Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers of Electric Cables in Bangladesh Its factory is located in B.K Bari, Rajendrapur, Gazipur. It formerly went by the name Fecto Industries Ltd. and was managed under the Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation (BSEC) and was owned by the Bangladesh Government. In 1993 the factory was taken over by us and has been modernized in collaboration with the Japanese under the BMRE program. We are now producing all types of CITIZEN BRAND Electric cables as per International Standard out of 99.99% pure imported copper at our new factory at Gazipur, equipped with computerized machineries of latest technology having a modern laboratory, capable to produce all types of PVC/XLPE Copper/Aluminium cables up to 33KV and all types of overhead insulated and bare conductors.
Quality and Reliability have always been our main emphasis, and therefore, all Citizen Brand Cables are tested as per requirements of Standard Specifications. All our products are thoroughly tested in our well-equipped, Modern Testing Laboratory and are approved by Bangladesh Standard and Testing Institution (BSTI) and Bureau of Research, Testing & Consultation (BRTC), BUET and approved by PWD, PDB, MES, REB, DPDC, CAAB, DCC, Facilities Department, Bangladesh Railway, Mongla & Chittagong Port Authority, and many other Govt.
Our company has achieved the prestigious ISO 9001:2008 Certificate from Bureau Veritus Quality International (BVQI), U.K for its adherence to the strict Quality Management System. Additionally Citizen Cables has also been certified from BUET, BSTI and CPRI (Central Power Research Institute, India) for its unique quality orientation & performance to International Standards.
