Elson Foods is one of the premier brands of quality confectionery in Bangladesh. Our core business focuses on candy and chocolate manufacturing, with an aim to produce finer products at affordable prices. We have more than 20 brands present in the local market and expanding our presence beyond borders. 
History
The Company was established in 2001, with the intention to cater for the mass population. The idea was to bring international standards of quality and taste to the local communities. Serving such products within the buying capacity of our people was a challenge that Md. Nurul Islam was willing to explore. Having 30 years of experience in import and trading, and a passion for food and confectionery industry, Mr. Islam started to gather knowledge on the production and engineering of food technology. He observed a huge import of jelly candies and an ever increasing demand of such products. Finally in 2001, the journey of Elson Foods began. The plant was set up under a technical collaboration and supervision of a company based in Taiwan, producing first ever in Bangladesh “Lychee - Mini Cup Edible Gel” which is a favorite among the children. The primary objective was to manufacture import substitute quality food products in Bangladesh, saving foreign currency and reducing import dependency. Since then, the company explored other confectionery lines, and created value for consumers with various expansions in chocolates, candies, cereal bars, and wafer biscuits. 
Today, Elson is a trusted name for quality confectionery products among its stakeholders, dealers, retailers and consumers.

We believe our people at Elson are the driving force of the Company’s success. Hence we take strict measures to keep our working environment safe and healthy for our employees. Our Quality control team follows a quality manual and trains our employees to maintain the required standard of their activities. SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Results-specific and Time-bound) quality objectives have been formulated with the approval and involvement of our management team. Starting from material procurement to handling finished products, quality measures are checked and monitored at every step. Elson Foods do not compromise with issues that pose a risk to the safety of our plant, equipments, workers, contractors, suppliers, customers and the public. We are constantly updating and upgrading our work procedures to ensure the safety of factory premise and the employees. We follow the government health and safety laws that are applicable to our industry.

Elson promotes women empowerment in its recruitment policy and hence majority of our factory employees are female. We train and recruit fresh graduates to enhance their knowledge with practical work experience. We are involved in promoting child education and associate ourselves in various humanitarian programs including street children education, support orphanage, and help children with special needs.
