Multifabs Ltd. came into being in 1992-93, and posted its first ever export in the following fiscal year. Since then, sustaining a spectacular growth at a rate of more than 20 percent a year, it exported apparel worth US $20 million in 2010. Among many indicators, whatsoever, perhaps this increase of export alone would sketch the degree of its exponential growth. Just about 25 km to the west of Dhaka International Airport, Dhaka, the factory premise of Multifabs Ltd. is situated at Kashimpur, Gazipur area‚ and an industrial township rapidly growing by way of hosting the new generation garment factories. 
Abundance of natural greenery around, availability of skilled workforces, ample of spaces for safe accommodation of ETPs and a range of other facilities including gas, electricity and water supply as well as heavy container van and trailer plying tracks must characterize Kashimpur as an ideal place for a futuristic garment factory like Multifabs Ltd.
Multifabs Ltd. is mandated to offer organic cotton products for all segments of apparel users including babies and infants. 
It maintains eco-friendly living around its factory base. It conforms to all ILO standards applicable in the country. Multifabs Ltd. is WRAP certified.
Until mid of 2012, in this composite knit factory, about 3500 people used to produce 15 tones of knit and dyed fabrics, and 50,000 pieces of very high quality knit garments per day during the normal hours. To meet the buyers’ increased demand, however, Multifabs Ltd. has vigorously completed its revamping in November 2010.
Multifabs Ltd. owns two captive power plants capable of producing more than 2.6 MW power necessary for the company.
