About:
Tissa Eleperuma the visionary leader and Founder Chairman/Managing Director of Naturub Group of Companies, is an old boy of Sri Sumangala College, Panadura. Having had his primary and secondary education at Sri Sumangala, he pursued his employment career initially with Ceylon Tobacco Company as a Production Supervisor.
Tissa was a versatile schoolboy cricketer and represented his alma mater in under 14, under 16, and 1st eleven cricket as the captain and subsequently captained the Panadura Sports Club in 1st class cricket. His determination in cricket did not end with that. While in the employ of Ceylon Tobacco Company, he played for the company at the Mercantile Division One and represented the Sri Lanka National Team from 1979 to 1981.
Tissa always enjoyed facing challenges and competition, and never hesitated to make decisions to achieve his objectives. He commenced his business career with the manufacture of Rubber balloons and then onto rubber toys and finally to apparel accessories. The long 40-year career pathway has not been a bed of roses for him. His road to success was full of barriers. Undeterred by the lack of finance, technical know-how and lands & buildings at the initial stages, and also the unfavourable political environment prevailed at that time, he showed immense courage and perseverance to continue successfully on his victorious path to establish South East Asia’s largest corporate apparel accessory manufacturing facility and supply source.
Today, Tissa successfully manages and administers a well-diversified business conglomerate “Naturub Group of Companies” with a workforce of over 3500.
Apart from the main production facility at Panadura, Sri Lanka, the group owns and operates 7 Hydro Power Stations connected to the national grid, 3 large scale Metal Quarries and Crusher Plants, and Apparel Accessories production facilities in Horana Sri Lanka and Chittagong, Bangladesh.

Preferred Work Types:
- Assist in formulation of audit techniques, audit guidelines, audit programs and checklists for the better performance of audit work.
- Review operational processes, identify risk of operations, and assess the risk as per guideline provided by the Department Head.
- Perform management audit of periodic financial statements on planned approach basis instructed by the Department Head.
- Prepare draft report on various areas assigned by the Department Head for finalization.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports for management review.
- Pre-audit of all accounting transactions, purchase requisitions, financial vouchers, bill etc.
- Submit various reports on variances (standard & actual), process loss, profit and other related issues as assigned by the Department Head.
- Supervise team members to perform vouching activities and report to by the Department Head on identified issues.
- Assist to conduct periodical physical inventory of different projects and factories by team members as per planned approach set by the Department Head.
- Any other relevant assignments provided from HQ on time to time basis.
- Develop strong internal control policy.
- Report to department Head.
