Job Description:
- Regularly inspect the workplace environments and equipment to identify potential hazards and control measures.
- Conduct safety risk assessments to determine the level of risk associated with specific hazards.
- Take initiatives to reduce emissions, waste generation, and energy consumption as a protection measure for the environment.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as emergency procedures, personal protective equipment, and safe work practices.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions based on the findings.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with environment, health, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate & assist with daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance schedules & follow up with service reports.
- Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement the environment, health, and safety programs.
- Monitor, update, and supervise the emergency response teams (firefighter, rescuer & first aid teams) so that everyone remains prepared for any sudden incident.
- Monitor and prepare reports on environment, health & safety incidents, inspections, training, and other relevant activities.
- Maintain a working relationship with regulatory agencies and ensure that the factory is in compliance with all applicable regulations
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
Educational Requirements:
- The candidate must have BSC in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering / Environment Science and other similar discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Additional Requirements:
- Age 18 to 35 years
- The candidate(s) who have any diploma in any EHS-related courses will get a preference
- Age, education, and experience may be relaxed for potential candidates.
